Remi Tinubu, Nigeria’s First Lady, praised members of the Nigerian Female Football Team, Super Falcons, for their success at the ongoing female World Cup competition on Monday.

According to Metrowatchxtra.com, the Super Falcons were eliminated from the competition after losing on penalties to the English team, the Lionesses, last week Monday.

Mrs. Tinubu, who met the squad with officials from the Nigeria Football Federation at the State House in Abuja, stated to the players,  “You gave your all and we are proud of you. Although the final result did not go our way, I am here to remind you that victory is not solely determined by the score on the field. The unbreakable spirit and unity that you demonstrated are true markers of success”.
