The acting Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, on Friday, met with the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero.
During a courtesy visit on Friday to the state, the IG alongside other policemen visited the Emir in his palace.
Details of the visit were not made known to journalists but that’s the first visit of the police boss to the monarch since his appointment as the IG.
President Bola Tinubu appointed the IG to replace Usman Alkali Baba who former President Muhammadu Buhari appointed in April 2021.
