Following Leicester City’s 2-0 victory against Burton Albion in their Carabao Cup first-round match on Wednesday night at the Pirelli Stadium, Kelechi Iheanacho was voted Man of the Match.
In the sixth minute, Iheanacho gave the Foxes the lead.
The Marc Albrighton cross set up the Nigerian player, who smoothly backheeled the ball into the goal.
Early in the second half, Iheanacho switched roles and became a provider, putting up Wilfred Ndidi, a member of his international side, for the second goal.
Leicester City resisted Burton’s fruitless attempts to into the game.
The team led by Enzo Maresca will now play Trammere Rovers in the next round.
