Rasmus Hjlund’s Manchester United medical is now complete, and he is now set to join the club for £72 million from Atalanta.
Hjlund is expected to be formally introduced as Man United’s new player this weekend, probably at the Red Devils’ preseason encounter against Lens at Old Trafford on Saturday, according to Sky Sports.
He is still the striker that Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag wants to sign this summer.
Following the arrivals of Mason Mount and Andre Onana this summer, Hojlund will be Man United’s third significant acquisition.
The 20-year-old transferred from Sturm Graz to Atalanta in 2022.
