Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal have made an offer worth a staggering €140 million [£120m] to Napoli for striker Victor Osimhen, according to reports.
The nine-figure sum, however, has been rejected in recent hours, according to French outlet L’Equipe, who suggest the Saudi club made two bids worth €120 million and €140 million for the Nigerian forward.
The report also states that Napoli are waiting for an even higher sum to be offered. They hope Osimhen will instead extend his contract in Naples after scoring 26 goals in Serie A last season.
But it is claimed Al-Hilal will come back with a new offer. In fact, Sky Sports suggest the wages on offer at this present moment are in the region of €1.1 million [£1m] per week.
