Senator Abubakar Kyari, Deputy National Chairman (North) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has emerged as acting National Chairman of the party.
Similarly, Festus Fuanter from Plateau State, the Deputy National Secretary of the APC, is now acting National Secretary of the ruling party.
Their emergence followed the reported resignation of the former occupants of the seats, Abdullahi Adamu and Iyiola Omisore as Chairman and Secretary respectively.
On Monday, Kyari presided over an emergency meeting of the APC National Working Committee (NWC) at the party’s national secretariat, in Abuja.
