President Bola Ahmed Tinubu says his administration will do its best to re-establish Nigeria’s status as the ‘Giant of Africa.’

Tinubu stated this shortly after receiving President of Guinea-Bissau and Chairman, Authority ECOWAS Head of State and Government, Umaro Sissoco Embalo, who paid him a private visit in Lagos.

In a post on his official social media handles, Tinubu said both leaders discussed several issues of mutual interests.

He wrote “I was delighted to receive His Excellency, President Umaro Sissoco Embaló, the President of Guinea-Bissau and Chairman of the Authority of ECOWAS Heads of State and Government”.

“We enjoyed a pleasant lunch together and discussed several issues of mutual interest”.
