David Adeleke, nicknamed Davido, a well-known Nigerian afro beats artist, has disclosed that he is now constructing a house for himself and his wife, Chef Chioma, in the upscale Eko Atlantic City neighborhood of Lagos.
The musician revealed this while participating in the most recent Drink Champs podcast, which N.O.R.E and DJ EFN co-host.
Davido claimed that he would pick the wealthy real estate industry if he had to select a profession at this time other than music.
He said, “Real estate right now, I will say in Lagos. People have really been building some new dope infrastructures. Yeah, a very good investment, I’m telling you.
“You can buy a place for like $1.5 million…But you sell it for like $4 million. I will tell you, it is a very good investment. My new house I’m building now, for me and my wife, is by the beach; it’s at Eko Atlantic [city]. It’s quiet dope. A lot of good buildings. Amazing.”
