The tallest man in Nigeria, Afeez Agoro Oladimeji, is dead. He died last night after suffering from prolonged sickness.

Afeez, who is the second tallest human in West Africa, had been ill for months. He went for a hip surgery after he cried out for held on social media sometime in May.

He was 48 years old.

According to his friend, the deceased was rushed to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), yesterday evening after he developed some complications.

“I reached out to check on him as usual yesterday only to be told by someone who picked his call that he had be rushed to LUTH due to complications.

“But unfortunately, this morning I was informed he died around 7:30pm last night,” the friend, Jide Ojo-Olusola mourned.
