President Bola Tinubu is currently meeting behind closed doors with Abdulsalami Abubakar, former military head of state, at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.

In a video shared by the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) showing Abdulsalami’s arrival at the villa, Tinubu was seen receiving the former military dictator as he alighted from his vehicle.

Both leaders exchanged banter alongside their aides after which they moved to the president’s office for a closed door meeting.

Abubakar only yesterday, Wednesday June 14, celebrated his 81st birthday.
