The Police authorities in Oyo State, on Friday, declared wanted, Mukaila Lamidi, alias Auxillary, the sacked leader of the defunct Parks Management System, in Oyo.
On Tuesday, a raid on one of Auxillary’s residences in Ibadan, saw the recovery of guns and ammunition, with 78 members of his gang reportedly arrested and detained.
It came barely 24 hours after the Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde announced the disbandment of the state’s parks management system and the sack of Auxiliary.
Auxiliary was formally declared wanted on Friday by the Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO Adewale Osifeso, during a press briefing at the police headquarters, in Ibadan.
He said, “The general public particularly good citizens of the state are hereby notified that LAMIDI MUKAILA AKA AUXILIARY ‘M’ whose Photograph appears above is wanted by the Nigeria Police Force, Oyo State command in connection with cases of; attempted murder, causing grievous harm, arms dealing, murder, armed robbery within the state and kidnapping at Oke-ogun and Ibarapa axis of the State.
“Lamidi Mukaila is an indigene of the state. He was born on January 9, 1962 (61yrs) and dark in complexion.”
