President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently meeting with Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
It comes shortly after the president earlier in the day met with service chiefs and the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) at the State House, in Abuja.
It was gathered that the meeting with the National Assembly leaders may not be unconnected to the leadership of the impending 10th National Assembly.
Both NASS leaders are expected to play a role leading to the emergence of the next principal officers of the parliament which is set for inauguration June 5.
Tinubu and his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) had earlier endorsed some candidates for the positions of Senate President and Deputy Senate President of the Senate, and Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.
