At least 13 nations have qualified for Argentina’s 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup’s Round of 16 stage.
On Saturday, the three most recent teams to advance to the Round of 16 were Israel, Brazil, and Italy.
Italy defeated the Dominican Republic 3-0 while Brazil defeated Nigeria 2-0.
Israel defeated Japan 2-1 in the other game on Saturday, and Senegal and Colombia drew 1-1.
Following the results of the group stage matches played on Saturday, Argentina, Uzbekistan, New Zealand, the United States, Ecuador, Colombia, Nigeria, England, Gambia, and South Korea are now joined by Brazil, Italy, and Israel in the Round of 16 stages.
Later today, the last round of group matches will be played.
