The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has urged security authorities to keep Nigerians up to know on the actions taken against Abuja pastor Uche Aigbe.

Aigbe allegedly publicly displayed a rifle on the altar of his House on the Rock Church in Abuja.

On Sunday, February 12, 2023, Aigbe carried an AK-47 weapon to his church.

He was later apprehended by police and charged in court.

In a statement made accessible to reporters, MURIC Executive Director Professor Ishaq Akintola stated that Nigerians were beginning to think that the situation had been pushed under the rug.

“Nigerians are beginning to suspect that the matter has been swept under the carpet.

“An Abuja pastor, Uche Aigbe, brought an AK-47 rifle to his House on the Rock Church on Sunday, 12th February 2023. By so doing, he caused a stir not only inside the church but nationwide.

“Although he was later arrested by the police and arraigned in court, Nigerians did not hear anything about the matter afterward,” he said.
