President-elect Bola Tinubu arrives Nigeria from France on Saturday May 20, 2023.

Ahead of the May 29, 2023 inauguration ceremony, president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has returned to Nigeria from his ten-days working visit to France.

Photos circulated on social media on Saturday show the private jet of the former Lagos governor land at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

Tinubu and his wife, Remi were received by supporters and party chieftain including Vice-President-elect, Senator Kashim Shettima; Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State; Senate President Ahmad Lawan and Senator Godswill Akpabio.

Tinubu is expected to be sworn in as the fifth democratically elected president of Nigeria on Monday 29 May, 2023, taking over from his outgoing predecessor, President Muhammadu Buhari.
