Israel Adesanya, the UFC middleweight champion, has claimed that his assets, like those of Paris Saint-Germain right-back Achraf Hakimi, are safe.
Remember that Hakimi is going through a divorce with Spanish actress Hiba Abouk.
Because of the manner he handled his divorce from her, the Moroccan international transferred all of his riches to his mother, which meant Abouk would not be entitled to any of the footballer’s earnings.
However, Adesanya is presently in a similar scenario.
The 33-year-old Nigerian-born fighter recently ended his relationship with ex-girlfriend Charlotte Powdrell, who has since sued him.
Powdrell argued that her connection with Adesanya had lasted long enough for her to be entitled to a piece of his assets.
However, Adesanya has recently stated that his assets are safe.
“Very relatable… Imagine being so fu*ken entitled that you think you deserve what a man has worked his whole life for,” Adesanya said in an Instagram story (as quoted by Essentially Sports).
“When you came into his life with nothing and tried to leave with millions. But like Achraf Hakimi, my assets are protected. I woulda taken half her sh*t too but I don’t want half of NOTHING.”
