The presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party in the February 25 elections, Rabiu Kwankwaso, on Thursday, attended a reception to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III and the Queen Consort.

He shared photos from the event on his Facebook page on Friday.

The photos were captioned, “Yesterday, I joined the British Acting High Commissioner to Nigeria, Ms. Gill Atkinson, and other esteemed personalities, at a reception to celebrate the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III and Her Majesty the Queen Consort.

“I extend my profound congratulations to His Majesty King Charles III on this epochal occasion. May his reign be marked by a continued deep mutual understanding between his people and the global community. – RMK”

The coronation of Charles III and his wife, Camilla, as King and Queen of the United Kingdom, took place on 6 May 2023 at Westminster Abbey.
