Nigerian Rapper, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has revealed that he had to undergo surgery to repair a major injury on his leg.
He said the surgery was to repair his torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL), an injury he had sustained while playing football with friends.
METROWATCHXTRA.COM gathered that the surgery took place on May 2, 2023. Falz took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a video of himself on crutches in the hospital, after surgery.
He wrote, “Current situation It’s a whole journey to being 100% back. Say a prayer for me
”
Recalling how it all started, via a throwback video, Falz said “Today is 26 Nov 2022, I am walking with a bit of a limp. About three days ago on 23rd, I went to play football, and sustained a knee injury. It seems pretty serious.”
In another part of the clip, the Rapper said, “This is November 30 2022, about a week since I tore my ACL. To be honest, I didn’t know what happened on that day. I just know it felt really painful but the MRI result came back and it shows that it is a complete tear on my ACL.
“I have been advised to go into surgery to fix it.”
