Toyin Abraham, a well-known Nollywood actress, and filmmaker, continues to soar high as Ijakumo receives three nominations for the 2023 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards, AMVCA.
Ijakumo received nominations for Best Cinematography, Best Picture Editor, and Best Sound Editor.
This comes two years after she was snubbed by the AMVCA despite being named the highest-grossing actress in 2021 after creating her film, ‘The Ghost and the Tout,’ which performed well at the box office.
Sharing the news in a post on her Instagram page on Sunday, she expressed gratitude to God as she noted how hard work always pays off in the end.
She wrote: “This is the first time my movie will be nominated for the AMVCA award, and we got three nominations. I just want to say that whatever you do, just keep working hard. It will surely pay off.”
Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) is an annual accolade presented by Multichoice recognizing outstanding achievements in television and film.
