Member representing Patani State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Emmanuel Sinebe, says it would be a Herculean task for any political aspirant to win election in Delta State outside the platform of the People’s Democratic party (PDP),
Sinebi hinged his position on what he described as the landmark achievements the party has so far recorded since the inception of Democratic rule in the country.
Sinebe, who stated this while speaking to journalists in Asaba, the Delta State capital, averred that the Party – PDP – has remained endemic in the State because of the developmental strides it has recorded
Describing the Party as being focused and people-oriented, the Patani-born lawmaker said that the PDP in the state would not in any way compromise its Political ideology; hence the need to continue to feed candidates who are holistically committed to the welfare of the people-the electorates.
Speaking on the heels of the just concluded Governorship and House of Assembly elections in the State, the lawmaker said that the landslide victory the party recorded was testimonial to the overwhelming belief and confidence the people have on the party.
While congratulating Rt Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori; the Governor-elect and Speaker of the State House of Assembly on his victory at the poll, Hon. Sinebe said that the track record of the Speaker was what have the party the smooth ride at the poll.
He expressed optimism that given the leadership style of the Governor-elect within the past six years as Speaker of the State Assembly, he would be able to Govern the State with meaningful positive results.
The lawmaker, while urging Deltans, particularly the opposition political faithful to join hands with the party and the Governor-elect in driving positive change in the State, commended the State Governor,Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for his roles during the election process in the State.
Speaking on his renewed mandate to represent his constituents in the State House of Assembly, the lawmaker assured the people of Patani State Constituency of robust representation saying, “my constituent will certainly not regret their action at the poll voting overwhelmingly for me.
