Senate Chief Whip, Orji Kalu has said Bola Tinubu’s victory in the presidential election was an affirmation of Nigerians’ likeness.

The Senator remarked on Tuesday in a congratulatory message to the President-elect on his 71st birthday.

Kalu described Tinubu as a selfless, genuine, and positive-minded statesman passionate about Nigeria’s growth, progress, and development.

The former Abia governor called the celebrant “a firm advocate of democracy” whose antecedents in the struggle for the civil rule are commendable and worthy of emulation.

The lawmaker recognised Tinubu’s strides in the enthronement and sustenance of democracy and good governance at all levels.

Kalu said the former Lagos governor earned the goodwill of the people for his accomplishments in leadership positions.

“Tinubu’s victory in the just concluded presidential election is indeed another testament to his popularity among Nigerians,” he noted.
