An appeal has gone to all Nigerians especially all aggrieved parties to eschew bitterness and support President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to ensure he hit the ground running.
In a congratulatory message on Tinubu’s 71st birthday, a group of media professionals under the auspice of Kashim Shettima Media Support Group (KSMSG) urged Nigerians to ensure that the President and Vice President Elect chat a way forward for the country.
The group said: “Indeed, it is inspiring to be among the teeming well-wishers from across the globe to celebrate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he attains the admirable age of 71, even as he prepares to take over the mantle of leadership as Nigeria’s 16th President, though at a time Nigeria and the global economy is faced with new challenges, we believe strongly in Asiwaju Tinubu’s ability to assemble a team of erudite and cerebral individuals that will support his vision to deliver Nigeria from the shackles of poverty and also change the fortunes of the country for good, just as he has demonstrated same in his previous engagements as the Governor of Lagos State and a Senior Staff of Exxon Mobil.”
They added that: “Whilst praying to God Almighty for wisdom, courage and good health to actualize all his campaign promises, the KSMSG implore all Nigerians especially all aggrieved parties to eschew bitterness and support the President and Vice President Elect to chat a way forward for the country.
