The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Agbu Kefas, governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as the winner of the Taraba State governorship election.

Agbu polled 257,926 votes to defeat candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Muhammad Yahaya, who scored 202,277 and All Progressives Congress (APC)’s Emmanuel Bwacha, who got 142,502 votes.
