•Gov. Abdullahi Sule

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Governor Abdullahi Sule of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the state’s 2023 governorship election.

Sule polled a total of 347,209 votes to defeat his closest and main challenger, David Umbugadu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who garnered 283,16 votes.
