With 525,299 votes in his favour, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Caleb Mutfwang, as the winner of the March 18, 2023 governorship election in Plateau State.
The PDP candidate unseated the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, defeating the Governor Solomon Lalong’s backed APC candidate, Nentawe Yilwatda, who polled 481,370 votes.
