The Former Director General, National Broadcasting Commission and member All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council Media Directorate, Dr. Nasir Danladi Bako, has congratulated the Sokoto State Governor-elect, Alhaji Ahmed Aliyu, of the All Progressives Congress on his resounding victory at the Saturday’s Governorship election held on March 18, 2023.
Danladi made this known in a statement after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Alhaji Ahmed Aliyu as the Governor-elect of Sokoto state.
The statement read thus:
“This is a victory well deserved for yourself , the party and the good people of our dear state especially the young generation.
“Particular mention and commendation was heaped on the All Progressives Congress leader in Sokoto and former Governor, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wammako for his indefatigable leadership and unrivalled doggedness in steering the party to this hard-earned victory.
“Praise must also go to the Minister of Police Affairs, Director General of the State Gubernatorial campaign council and Katukan Sokoto Alh Maigari Dingyadi for his sterling performance in ensuring the victory of the All Progressives Congress in Sokoto.”
