Desmond Elliott, member representing Surulere I State Constituency in the Lagos State House of Assembly, has won re-election to a third term.
Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Returning Officer for the election, Dr. O. J. Fenuga, made the declaration in the early hours of Sunday.
Elliott won with a landslide with 17,837 votes, while his closest rival, Adebayo Bode of Labour Party, polled 7,822 votes; with Thomson Sulaimon of the Peoples Democratic Party polling 1,045 votes.
