•Sacked APC national caretaker committee chairman, Gov. Mai Mala Buni

The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared Governor Mai Mala Buni as the winner of the Saturday’s governorship election held in Yobe State.

Buni contested and won the race under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) where he once served as Caretaker National Chairman of the party.

Final results;

APC: 317,113

NNPP: 14,246

PDP: 104,259
