Labour Party (LP) candidate in the ongoing governorship election in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has lost his polling unit to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Sanwo-Olu defeated Rhodes-Vivour at the LP’s governorship candidate’s polling unit in Anifowoshe, Ikeja Local Government Area of the state.
The governor, who is seeking re-election for second term, polled 29 votes ahead of Rhodes-Vivour, who garnered got 18 votes.
From the results declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) amidst low turn out of voters, Olajide Adediran of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), came third with just two votes.
