Nigerian comedian, Adebowale “Debo” Adedayo, alias Mr Macaroni, has won his polling unit for the candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour in today’s gubernatorial poll in Lagos State.

Macaroni, a supporter of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, votes at the Chevy View Estate Gate, Lekki/Ikate ward, in Lagos.

He took to popular microblogging platform, Twitter, to share the good news with his followers and fellow “OBIdients”. The comedian won the unit with a landslide.

At the unit, LP polled 339 votes against incumbent Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress and Peoples Democratic Party’s Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, who garnered 63 and 5 votes respectively.
