Security agents have taken over strategic positions in Katsina, as voters troop out to cast their votes in Saturday’s governorship and States Houses of Assembly elections.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the security agents mounted road blocks at strategic positions to enforce law and order, as well as enforce restriction on vehicular movements.

Teams of security agents were also on patrol at the different parts of the metropolis, to prevent security breach.

NAN however, reports that the election witnessed early arrival of INEC officials and election materials, contrary to the delays that characterised the Feb. 25 Presidential and National Assembly elections.
