Buhari Condoles with Abacha Family over Son’s Death

President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled with former First Lady Maryam Abacha and family on the death of their son, Abdullahi.

metrowatchxtra.com, yesterday, reported how the deceased, who is one of the sons of the late military head of state, Sani Abacha, died in his sleep in the early hours of Saturday.

President Buhari extended his heartfelt condolences to be bereaved family in a statement issued by his senior spokesperson, Malam Garba Shehu, on Saturday in Abuja.

“The President’s prayers and thoughts are with the family of Abacha as they grieve the passing of the young Abdullahi”, Shehu said.

The President prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased and comfort for those who mourn.
