Mrs. Aisha Buhari, the President’s wife, has trusted Nigeria’s President-elect Bola Tinubu to produce a country that maintains unity, peace, and growth.
The first lady expressed hope in a congratulatory statement, which she personally signed on Wednesday in Abuja, that Tinubu will fight tirelessly to deliver the Nigeria of our founding fathers.
”It is my conviction that the Tinubu/Shettima Presidency will lead this country into the future that our founding fathers envisioned,” she declared.
Mrs. Buhari however said the triumph obtained in the election was a consequence of the talent, vision, and good intents of the president-elect to bring all Nigerians along irrespective of their ethnic and religious origins.
She praised all Nigerians, particularly women, for contributing to the party’s electoral triumph.
The first lady also welcomed her successor, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and expressed optimism that Nigerian women will benefit from her reign.
