The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has been declared the winner of Saturday’s presidential election in Zamfara State.
Tinubu won in twelve local government areas, ahead of Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who won in just two LGAs.
While Tinubu polled 298,396 votes, Atiku came second with 193,978 votes, Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) got 4,044 votes and Peter Obi of Labour Party (LP) garnered 1,660 votes.
