Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Mr. Peter Obi, has won in the 17 Local Government Areas of Abia State, during the Saturday’s presidential election in the state.
Mr. Obi also scored the highest valid votes in the Saturday’s presidential election held in Nasarawa State.
In Abia, Obi polled a total of 327,095 votes, way ahead of his closest challenger, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who scored 22,676 votes.
For Nasarawa, Obi secured 191,361 votes, while his closest rival, Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) scored 172,922 votes to emerge second, with Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) taking third position with 147,093 votes.
