Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu, has won Saturday’s national assembly election to represent the Ethiope federal constituency of Delta State in the House of Representatives.
Ibori-Suenu is daughter of former governor of Delta State, Chief James Ibori.
She polled 10,634 votes to unseat incumbent Roland Igbakpa of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), who polled 3,591 votes; and Halims Agoda of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who scored 6,899 votes.
