•Gov. Solomon Lalong of Plateau State.

The Governor of Plateau State, Mr. Simon Lalong has lost his bid to represent Plateau South senatorial district in the National Assembly.

Lalong, who contested under the All Progressives Congress (AP), lost to Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Mr. Napoleon Bali.

Bali polled a total of 148,844 valid votes to defeat Lalong who scored 91,674 votes in the Saturday’s poll.

Lalong is the Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Tinubu-Shettima Campaign Organisation.
