The Ebonyi State Governor, Engr. David Umahi has been declared winner of the Ebonyi South senatorial district election held Saturday, by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Umahi of the All Progressives Congress (APC) polled a total of 28,378 valid votes to defeat his closest rival, Linus Okorie of Labour Party (LP), who scored 25,496 votes.
