The Labour Party (LP) candidate in the Saturday’s presidential election, Mr. Peter Obi is currently leading in Kaduna state, winning three out of the five local government areas announced so far.
The three LGAs as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) include Kaura, Giwa and Kajuru local government areas.
Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won two – Soba and Makarfi.
INEC is expected to resume collation of results in the remaining 19 LGAs anytime soon.
Kaduna State has 23 local government areas and elections took place in all of them.
