The Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Mr. Festus Keyamo, has lost his polling unit to Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), during Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections.
Keyamo, who is spokesman for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, failed to deliver his principal and flag-bearer of the party in the poll, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Keyamo lost his polling unit 017 situated at Ward 2, in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State to Mr. Obi and the Labour Party.
Obi’s LP won the unit with 100 votes, followed by the APC’s Tinubu with 22 votes, while People Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar came third with 6 votes.
