Samuel Arunsi Eze, a man, was allegedly beheaded on February 25th, following election-related violence in the Ndi Agwu town of Abam, Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State, by political thug Daniel Mgba.
Eyewitness reports indicate that two people died during the current general election.
Eyewitnesses confirmed the horrifying tragedy and stressed the necessity for peaceful behaviour throughout the voting process when it was revealed that a second party engaged in the incident had also been slain, according to Tribune.
Widespread condemnation of the tragedy has been met with demands for a thorough inquiry and compensation for the victims.
