After scoring in the Partenopei’s 2-0 win over Sassuolo at the MAPEI Stadium, Victor Osimhen became the first Napoli player to score in seven straight Serie A games.

In 33 minutes, the Nigeria international scored his team’s second goal.

Osimhen has now scored 18 goals and provided three assists for Luciano Spalletti’s side in 19 league games this season.

The spectacular shot also marked the forward’s 100th career goal.

Osimhen has 85 goals for his different European clubs, including 15 for the Super Eagles in 22 games.

He is also the second-best African top scorer in Serie A, trailing only former AC Milan great George Weah.

In 70 Serie A appearances for Napoli, the 23-year-old has 42 goals.

Weah scored 46 goals for AC Milan in 114 games.
