Alhaji Bappa Dan-Agundi, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State, says the party’s presidential candidate, Sen. Bola Tinubu, will lead the country to greatness if elected in 2023.
Dan- Agundi told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Kano that Tinubu had distinguished himself as a politician with a passion to reposition the country for optimal growth.
Dan-Agundi explained that of all the leading presidential candidates, Tinubu stood out with the capacity to unite citizens of different faith and proffer lasting solutions to the challenges facing Nigerians.
“Tinubu remains one of the brilliant minds that the country has produced and is attested to from the various achievements recorded during his tenure as the Governor of Lagos State with the revolutionary ideas and achievable policies he injected into the system.
” The APC candidate remains the most qualified amongst all the presidential candidates giving his consistency in idea formulation and implementation.
” I urge eligible Nigerians youths to be relentless in mobilisation of votes for Tinubu, as he is best suited to harness their potentials,” he said.
He said that Tinubu has the zeal and capacity to redirect Nigeria on the right track.
Dan-Agundi, said that the party had since commenced house-to-house campaign for its candidates.
“We have since embarked on aggressive sensitisation on what we collectively stand to benefit if Tinubu wins the election.
“We are educating the electorate on the modest achievements recorded by the Muhammadu Buhari-led administration and the Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje, especially the provision of basic infrastructures,” he said.
Dan- Agundi listed some of the achievements of the Ganduje administration to include the provision of township roads , learning materials in public schools as well as modern facilities in public health institutions among others.
He called on politicians, especially those seeking elective offices to play responsible politics in order to pave way for free, fair and credible elections. ( NAN
