Following a brief stint on the sidelines, Wilfred Ndidi is expected to be selected to Leicester City’s matchday squad for Saturday’s Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur at the King Power Stadium.
Following an injury in training, Ndidi has missed the Foxes’ past three games in all competitions.
Prior to the match against Antonio Conte’s team, manager Brendan Rodgers issued an encouraging injury report on the Nigerian international.
“He’s back in training and hopefully should be fine for the weekend,” Rodgers told the club’s official website.
Ndidi struggled to stay fit in recent times battling with one injury or another.
His international teammate, Kelechi Iheanacho, is also expected to be included in Leicester City’s squad for the game.
Iheanacho scored once and provided two assists in the club’s 4-2 win at Aston Villa last weekend.
