Contrary to media reports, the Deputy Governor of Sokoto State, Hon. Manir Dan’Iya, has denied resigning from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Aminu Abubakar, Director of Press, Office of the Deputy Governor, who disassociated his principal from the viral report, said Dan’Iya remains a bonafide member of PDP.
“This is untrue and a blatant lie,” Abubakar said in a statement on Thursday, while pledging his principal’s unwavering loyalty and support for the PDP.
