Comrade Joe Ajaero, General Secretary of the Nigerian Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE), has been elected as the new President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC).
Ajaero made history on Wednesday by emerging unopposed as NLC president at the election taking place at the International Conference Centre, ICC, Abuja.
He had no challenger for the office as confirmed at the Opening Ceremony of 13th National Delegates Conference (NDC) of the NLC.
Ajaero succeeds Comrade Ayuba Wabba, whose tenure as NLC President ends with Conference/Election currently taking place.
