Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike, widely known as Phyno, a Nigerian indigenous rapper, has denied having sickle cell illness.

Phyno clarified the situation in a tweet on Wednesday.

Ele Peter, a fan, said in a tweet that his affection for the singer double when she discovered he had sickle cell disease.

She wrote, “ Since I heard Phyno has sickle cell the love tripled, I pray God grants him the strength to keep fighting.”

Reacting, Phyno wrote, “ Lol. No, I do not have sickle cell. Love to everyone fighting it though.”
