Sinoma, Chinese Company, Donates Learning Materials to Students in Kuje

Sinoma Nigerian Company Limited on Sunday donated learning materials  to students of Aflon Digital Academy, Kuje, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to improve the quality of learning and encourage the students to strive.

Mr Geng Fengtao, Managing Director of the Company said that the items donated is to encourage students in learning and physical activities so that they can become successful in the future.

Geng said that ensuring successful students will also help in promoting the China-Nigerian relations as the students are welcomed to work at Sinoma Nigerian Company Limited in future.

“Today’s donation activity is to have a close communication with our friendly neighbour, Aflon Digital Academy, we hope that our student here can strengthen their physical activity exercise and study better.

“As well as we hope and welcome our students to visit our company and factory at anytime.

“We also sincerely wish that our students can join Sinoma Nigeria Company limited to contribute  to the construction industry in Nigeria,” Geng said.

Mr Wu Shuang, Deputy Managing Director, Sinoma Company said that the donation comes as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to the Nigerian society which also promotes the China-Nigerian cordial relations.

Wu aid that the Company picked Aflon Digital as a beneficiary this time as a digital and technical institution which is in line with activities of the Sinoma company.

“Our company, SInoma Nigeria Company Limited, we come here since 2008, and have done a lot of project in Nigeria, especially cement.

“We are here for the social responsibility for the social. We came to Abuja, we have seven or eight years already but we never have some connections before.

“But I think it is good opportunity that we get very good relationship with our neighbor, Aflon Digital Academy.

“This school have very similar target vision with us, you know Sinoma is technology company and this school they are in technology and I think this is the basic for our cooperation in future so that we can continue.

“And this donation is only the beginning to our relationship, friendship. So from now on and in the coming future, we will have more deep relationship,” Wu said.

Mr Emmason Obasin, Principal of the school thanked Sinoma Company for the donation which he describes as timely, coming at the end of the year and term when gifts are shared among people.

Obasin said the items which includes Television set, books, stationaries, outdoor games kit, school bags among others will cushion learning and physical activities of the students.

He said that Sinoma group have shown to be a good neighbor by the gesture alongside other things the company has done for the environs like constructing access road and providing security.

“This is an encouragement to us that we have concerned neighbors, and the second, we have neighbors that care about the students wellbeing and academic progress.
“It will encourage the students, and from the gifts they presented today, it is to tell them that they should prepare very well for next term.

“If you give a child a book and bag it means be ready for next term and that is what they have done. To be able to motivate them into higher acidic performance,” Obasin said.

Obasin said that thirty students of the school benefitted from the donation.

Head girl of the Academy, Favour Ehinola who spoke on behalf of the students also thanked Simona Company for the gift which she says will encourage them in their academics.

“I feel very honored and appreciative of Sinoma wonderful gifts and we are highly grateful.

“I appreciate this gesture on behalf of my school. This is a huge encouragement because many of us, our Parents cannot afford some of these things, especially those that are unable to change their books.

“This will spur students to be more productive and prosper,” Ehinola said.
