Lagos Island is set to come alive this December as Mountain of Fire Ministries (MFM) is set to unveil 25 gospel artistes on December 4, 2022.
The music concert tagged “The Psalmist Concerts” is the maiden edition, and it will feature Holy Ghost Meeting, Word, Worship, Healing, and other spirit-filled activities for the spiritual nourishment of the participants.
Pius Oragwu, administrator and chairman, MFM Praise Worship Association disclosed this at a press briefing held at the MFM headquarters in Lagos on Tuesday.
Oragwu, who represented Dr. Daniel Olukoya, MFM General Overseer, said the 25 artistes from across the 36 States of the federation will have their albums officially released at the event slated to hold at the Eko Hotels, Lagos.
The event aims to take many hopeless youths out of the streets and also improve the lives of the citizenry.
“When you consider hunger, poverty, insecurity, and other things, you will find out that the Nigerian masses need encouragement and comfort, they need hope.
“Also, we see this as a source of hope and comfort together with God’s words as far as Nigeria’s situation is concerned.
“These songs are not mentioned for MFM alone but for the body of Christ and the world at large.
“We thank God for our Father in the Lord Dr. Daniel Olukoya for creating this platform. We want the world to know that MFM is not known for prayers alone but for music too.
“We want to ensure that we take as many youths as possible out of the streets and see that something good comes out of their destinies. That was why the G.O. came up with this to promote destinies,” he said.
Oragwu, however, added that the general overseer plans to have the concert as a yearly event and will have more youths not just from the MFM but from the body of Christ at large participate.
