Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, was on Thursday conspicuously missing as presidential candidates of other political parties gathered physically for the signing of the now-customary peace pact, ahead of next year’s general elections.
However, it was observed that Tinubu’s running mate, Kashim Shettima, was present at the signing ceremony. He is representing Tinubu, who is alleged to have traveled out of the country to the UK on medical grounds.
Other Presidential Candidates at the event include: Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP; Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP; Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, among others.
